Solderless Breadboard

A Solderless Breadboard, photographed for identification practice

HOW TO RECOGNISE IT

A solderless breadboard is identified by its grid of square sockets in short connected rows, split by a channel down the middle and edged with power rails marked by a red and a blue stripe. Nothing on it is soldered — a spring clip behind each hole grips the component leg — which is exactly what separates it from perfboard or stripboard, where every joint is permanent.
