CNC Router Spindle

A CNC Router Spindle, photographed for identification practice

HOW TO RECOGNISE IT

A CNC router spindle is the motorised head that holds and spins the cutting bit, mounted on the machine's Z-axis so it can plunge into the workpiece. It is identified by its cylindrical housing, a rated-power nameplate, and a collet chuck at the tip that grips the bit.
